Our Story

The name LionSky Films grew out of both our personal histories and the kind of work we set out to create. Lionel’s first paid production was a tandem training video for Skydive Snohomish, an experience that rooted his filmmaking journey in the sky itself. At the same time, Amber’s background in environmental science and deep connection to the natural world made “sky” a powerful symbol of scale, exploration, and perspective. The “lion” comes from Lionel’s namesake—Lion-O from Thundercats—a figure of strength, leadership, and courage, qualities we wanted reflected in our work.

Founded in 2017, LionSky Films is a husband-and-wife–owned, full-service video production company creating high-impact content for brands, businesses, and storytellers. We produce cinematic, strategy-driven content, handling everything in-house from concept to delivery. Hands-on by nature, we collaborate closely with crews and artists to bring ideas to life, turning every project into a work of art.
